The main idea of the architectural and artistic solution is monumentality, unity and integrity of the volumetric interior of the station and pavilions, as if carved out of solid stone
The main illumination of the platform and pavilions is created using surface-mounted cylindrical fixtures with diffused light, finished with brushed aluminium panels with a terrazzo photo pattern similar to that on the ceiling. Transition zones are marked by a raised ceiling with linear lighting behind the cornice along the perimeter. Overhead spotlights are used in fire and lift zones. The total amount of light is determined according to detailed lighting calculations
All surfaces – floors, walls and ceilings – reference traditional terrazzo mosaic in a light grey tone. Glossy white panels are also used on the ceiling, echoing rock openings. The strict geometry and right angles of the station are softened by large cylindrical luminaires that add a monumental, calm temperament to the interior
Within the project, three external entrance pavilions for the metro station were designed, along with the landscaping of the adjacent park. The recognizable interior design code of the station served as the foundation for all exterior solutions. The guiding architectural form is the cylinder
The entrance pavilions are clad in the same material as the station and include curved elements that echo the cylindrical geometry, reinforcing continuity between the interior and exterior architecture
The project includes a comprehensive landscaping scheme for the former construction pit, transforming it into a unified public park integrated with the station complex
Cylindrical ventilation shafts define the rhythm and scale of the park composition. The colour palette and materials were selected to create a cohesive architectural language that connects the exterior spaces with the interior of the station
